I have an E6 and the touch screen does not scratch very easily. I've had mine since April this year and it barely has a scratch at all.
The biggest drawback in my opinion is the inability to write messages with one hand. Using the stylus is the only way to write your messages, and you need your other hand to hold the phone. The input is quite fast once you're used to it, after all, all the characters are available in one tap, it's at least as fast as T9. Whether you like it, is personal.
In my opinion the E6 has one of the most convenient interfaces available. Touch screen response is very fast and it has exactly enough physical buttons. It's not a _real_ smartphone, though. But it does the things that I need and probably better than most phones (mp3/music, movie clips, browsing, I use Opera Mini though, and of course, phone calls).
I can't say much about the Z6. It looks like a nice phone, but since I'm used to touchscreen phones, the interface looks rather clumsy
The reviews are raving, though, so I'm sure it's an excellent phone.
well thank you solarx i got the e6 cant wait it will be here on the 10th
