To install the mpkg installer, you'll need to download the zip file located on this forum... Then, the easiet way is to copy/replace the .system file (w/c is hidden, you'll need to "show hidden folders") to the root directory of your SD card...

And to install pkg apps:

Unzip the pkg file you downloaded (most pkg apps here are zipped), then hold stylus on the pkg app and select "open with"... Then choose the pkg installer application, then put a check on "use this app to open files of this type" so that the next time you'll just need to click on the app and it will automatically open the file with pkg installer...

I used mpkg and .lin loader, they work fine, but yesterday i install the SMARTASSISTANT and its great because u get the mpkg and the lin loader and more like the unzipper, backup/restore, cleanup and theme installation, all in one program, very easy to use all in one app, all in one icon no need to have those ugly icon, it much cleaner

i have installed the smart assistan but its not working means fone doeas not shows any smass icon in the menu...what can i do for tht????
is mpkg and pkg is different.where i can get the pkg file????

First of all, from what I have seen, newbies think Smartassistant is easier.

All you have to do is take the .system folder, and replace the one in your Memory Card. That is it

when i instal the mpkg file it shows me as mpkg file in the menu.i cant get as .pkg.is there is any diff between ths???wht 2 do with ths prob.
plz help me i m new user....
