2. Yes, they replied EVERY time i asked. Sometimes with a negative answer, but i never felt ignored.
3. I do. I am the most interested people in KERNEL sources for EZX phones at the moment.
4. If you changed it lately, i take back what i said. But, when i last looked at the petition, it was asking for sources of A780 and E680, released 2 years ago.

I can help you with most of your questions.
BT: This is not kernel related. It is connected to the BTUART of the PXA processor, you just need to hack an USERSPACE application to get it working with standard BlueZ.
FM: Should be exactly the same as A1200 and E680, you can strace the Motorola app that controls the FM radio and replicate the ioctl()s on your app and it will work.
GUI: Kernel source would, of course, not help here.
Incoming call detection: Again, userspace troubles.. This is perfectly possible to implement, altough, not trivial. You will need to write an "proxy", that reads from MUX0, and writes to a pty pipe, replacing the /dev/mux0 that tapisrv opens.
Another possibility would be further reverse engineering of the tapisrv application, and then talking directly to tapisocket, but this may be even harder.

Just trust me. E6 kernel source would not help at the moment. Motorola made quite a lot of progress regarding compliance with the GPL, code quality, and relationship with the Open Source community. Be fair, and THANK Guy Martin regarding all his efforts on everything that we asked him in the past, instead of pestering him with "not so useful" demands.

@Wyrm: The petition has been "fixed", though corrections are added @ the top of the petition, in small print. Which, is impractical, but it is the hosts format. I see now that the kernel sources wouldn't do us a whole lot of good, however I have seen this turn into more of a matter of principle now than anything. I just don't see the difficulty in posting the sources on their site. But they have ignored my recent requests.
