Well, like I said, Globe changed thier website, that's why you're not able to go there right now... I'll try hunting for Globe's home page when I have more time, and I'll post it here...
Being a Globe subscriber, My E6 phone is now good with intenet surfing and MMS. I even tried accessing Smart 3G website and had video streaming thru realplayer.
All is good, except that I am not able to go to my OWN HOMEPAGE, globe's homepage. Being a globe subscriber, it mad eme wonder, that I can't access the globe's website while I am able to surf in any websites?
I tried calling up the GT Customer service and they gave me the same instructions that LHON0901 mentioned above, but still they can't explain why. They (the operator and her supervisor) just suggested to bring the phone to Mototola's service center.
wow. Blame it on the boogie.

Hello po.
Bought my E6 days ago.
Looking forward on someone's reply. Thanks a lot.
Hello po!
What do you mean service type 1? I've already posted the manual configurations above, try to go to "data network" and fill up the necessary info there, just leave the others blank... I'm using operamini right now, so I'm not able to add more... What version of E6 firmware are you using right now?
*edit
I've found what you were mentioning... Those settings are used/intended for the v3x, but works also wirh the E6... Just ignore the service type field and you're good to go... Just put the others in there on the neccessary fields...
Hope this helps! ^_^

I experienced the same. after copying Lhon0901's settings (seen on the first page of this thread), I FORGOT to tap / select (however you may call using that profile) that profile settings (i.e. GLOBE GPRS),it won't work.
you have to choose a certain internet profile to edit so as to copy the settings Lhon0901 gave. once done, that certain profile you edited has to be activated by choosing it.
(Im sorry, my phone is in the other room that's why my suggestion is not detailed )
1st step...
>Go to Applications Menu (tap the icon on the upper left part of the screen).
>Tap Set-up
>Tap "Data Network"
>Tap the selected internet profile(mine is myGlobe Internet and myGlobe GPRS), then tap the menu button on your lower left, then tap edit
>Now, follow the instructions stated by Lhon 0901 or rather copy the settings he gave us (im sorry, but this will be redundant if I had to copy-paste it in this post)
> PS: i suggest that you should append 'GPRS' or 'INTERNET' words on your profile name so as to identify the profile to its settings/purpose (ex. "myGlobe GPRS" profile is for MMS and "myGlobe INTERNET" is for browsing)
2nd Step (this will vary whether you are to use the connection for MMS or internet browsing)
> while on the set-up menu, tap "Data Network"
> then tap the selected profile
> tap on the lower-center button ("CONNECT")
NOTE: for me, the myGlobe GPRS profile worked both for internet browsing and MMS since MMS sending is also done thru connecting thru myGlobe ... I mean once you have received an MMS, the phone still needs to download the message thru the myGlobe site (wala lang, naisip ko lang na parang ganun!)
3rd step (baka eto yung di mo pa nagagawa!)
>while on the home screen, tap the bar that shows your battery status, network signal, GPRS active icon, Bluetooth icon, MMC icon and digital clock
> a window will appear showing you "Device Status", and on it includes the GPRS and ANTENNA pull down box, check whether it is enabled or disabled...
I wish I could afford to put some screen caps para mas madali makita pero di ko pa naiinstall yung screencap program ko e. hope the details are well discussed.
and also, pasensya na kung mali yung logical thinking ko po sa pag-actvate ng MMS but its how I made my MMS work....
BY THE WAY, NAAACCESS KO NA NGAYON YUNG MYGLOBE WEBSITE!!!!
ciao
Hi. Thank you very much for replying and trying to help me.
Setup > Data Network > Selected Globe Internet (this is my GPRS setting) > Connect (center tab)
Ayaw talaga e. Salamat nalang po ng marami to Mau and Lhon for trying to help me. I really appreciate it.![]()
