Can we use VLC Player on E6

hello can some one tell me if we can install VLC media player on E6. The site says there is a package for Familiar Linux which as per other site says works on A1200. Can some one help.

Niice... the thing is definitely arm based, but its ending in ipk... which is not what we want. Anybody can try renaming to pkg and tell me what error you get?
