.rmvb (real player format) video play well under real player in E6.
E6 can play a single .rmvb file up to many hours depend on your available space in SD card
and you may split the output file/s (means smaller size - easy to share thru bluetooth).

E6 setting (click RM) :

3) setting as mention above, picture size (320x240 or 240x320), video frame rate (15fps),
4) other setting - default setting is my choice (simple and fast), and click ok & u are done.
5) E6 can play a single .rmvb file up to many hours depend on your available space in SD card and you may split the output file/s (means smaller size - easy to share thru bluetooth) under Advanced / Output setting.
6) tip: also can burn disc and to do convert into .mpg format under dvd/vcd/svcd/mpeg column which some of the dvd player support play the .mpg file.

I have an issue in converting a large avi file (a movie) to rmvb format. The input format was 23.7 frames per sec. I selected the output as mentioned / shown (15 fps). However the output file was not consistent at 15 fps and was varying from 14.5 to 15.4 fps. (can check this in RealPlayer on my PC). Due to this this would not play in my E6 with the RealPlayer as the fps was exceeding 15 fps and the error ' invalid parameter' message comes up.

Is there something I am missing?

did u use winavi video converter for convert ?

if yes,
a) click set to 320x240 (Picture size) and 15fps (Video frame rate) under .avi to .rmvb format
b) how big the .avi movie? u may split the output file under Advanced/RM/Output setting
c) most of .avi format is abt 2 or 3 times much bigger than .rmvb format
d) try again, let me know how the result.


FYI:
most of .rm format is a audio file
and change to .rmvb when there is a video file
both .rm and .rmvb are under real player format.

normally real player under pc windows can play any resolution size and frame per second for audio & video file,
but come to mobile phones, u needs set to correct resolution size and frame per second for audio & video file.

media player classic can play real player format as well as other format in pc windows and better than real player itself,
but u needs to uninstall real player before install media player classic cos its may crash when both are in your pc windows.

let me know if u are interested to try media player classic, i will upload the player with 4MB size and much smaller than real player.

FYI :
Advanced setting under winavi video converter :
1) picture size ( width x height )
2) video frame rate ( frame per second )
3) output setting ( split to smaller size - easy to share )
4) other setting - default setting is my choice (simple and fast),
but u can set to other value (may be much better than default setting) and try yourself.
