Unhappy Applications in the menu disappear after usb mode!

    Hi..
i face this weird problem that whenever i connect my e6 to my pc in usb mode and transfer music or anythng.. then disconnect the hardware.. most of the additionally installed java, etc softwares from my cell do not re-appear on my cell..

I've to reboot the phone and then they appear normally on the applications list..

anyone else facing this problem or know a solution??

    thanks in advance!

that usually happens to me if i do not use that "safely remove hardware" shit...the card is not recognised and sometimes gives a message that it is corrupt..iv learnt bitter but rewarding lessons with this phone

    same problem here.

use the "safely remove" function to avoid this. though sometimes it may happen w/o even connecting it to a PC.

using that function cuts down on the probability though.

it generally happens to my programs in "User1" Group..
    Other Groups remain unaffected..
One more thing I have moved all the "pkg" applications to this group..
may be it happens due to this..

Click and hold on the application Icon,a menu will pop up. select "change category"

Note: This will not work if you are in "All" group.

Does anyone know where exactly (which file) is the category assignment done? In which case I would telnet / eKonsole into the phone to that file and change the assigned categories in the file itself, rather than having to do it one by one. What is most annoying that some apps which are NOT in any category and appear only in the ALL category cannot be moved to any other category !!!

Do this....make a format of the card on pc.....and again on the phone......

This is due to little difference b/w the file system that rokr uses......

to check this...try inserting a mmc from other phone(i used that of 6085)....

and the card got formatted without information.....hope this would help you.....
