easy way - memory ext 12mb, 32mb, 64mb and 128mb for E6

hello everyone,

all of them are collected from motorolafans, modmymoto, ccmove and other websites.
pls install .pkg with MPKG or get from motorolafans download section.

enclosed herewith sysinfo.pkg, memext.pkg with optional 32mb, 64mb & 128mb swapfile interchangeable.
first, you needs to install sysinfo.pkg & memext.pkg (come itself 12mb swapfile) and remember restart the phone on each installation.
now, tap on memext.pkg a ding-dong sound (off - ding sound) and you can check memory information with tap on the sysinfo icon (memory information view) in detail of swap free & swap used.

how to interchange swapfile size of 32mb, 64mb and 128mb :[/u]
1) using usb cable connect computer & E6 under usb mode - mass storage.
2) click my computer > SD card > .system (hidden file - if you cannot see the file, go to Tools / Folders Options / View / Click - show hidden files / apply & ok).
3) from .system > QTDownload > memext > swapfile (loaded with itself 12mb size).
4) replace the swapfile (delete .32mb .64mb or .128mb pick your choice) into step 3.
5) yes for replacement and exit.
6) remove the usb cable, tap on memext icon again and tap on sysinfo icon to check swap free & swap used value.

I have installed both of them already... the mpkg both installed fine... the memext.pkg will take longer time to install .... be patient

correct me if i'm wrong but I found out that while have the swap activate the phone can not be connected in mass storage mode. need to disable the memext first.

PS. I'm using Ezx Mpkg Installer by eakrin

Another question.....

How do you get out from the sysinfo screen?

I just hit the end call button to minimize it but still have to go back and click on the sysinfo icon again to kill the app.

when you use swap. you cannot remove card and cannot convert it to flashdirve. It may take a time 45 min for system to do that.

swap is the like a extended memory for system to run more app or for app that use many of memory that system have. it use file in card like a memory.

Hello!
To go out of sysinfo you need to tap on call end briefly, it will take you to the desktop screen, and then tap on sysinfo again, then choose kill...

But it will be being too cruel to your SD card which stores ur files. I meant this process decreases the life of SD Card. Increasing/Decreasing means reading and writing into Memory card. And memory card got limitation that you can cycle thru these process for limited time. May be the time might come that it will become unusuable and your precious files and data might be lost.
