Playlist hangs :(

Whenever i move the playlist down, real player hangs at a particular point... wut cud b da prblm? with the mmc or with real player or with skin? or with any other software installed?

Puhleez help me out

hey...i've noticed this too...this is becoz of corrupt data in a particluar mp3...probably the id3tag is corrupt... use a good encoder like lame and clear id3tags to aviod this

me too facing this problem.. all files are ok becoz all of them plays well on phone.

guys.. it doesnt hang .. its just that the interface it too slow.. it takes a lot of time to scroll down..

the point where it might hang up is .. when you keep tapping to the scroll down key after its stuck up..

I hate it when this happens but.. i guess this is something we'll have to live with.. as long as we are using real player...

I know the song plays...it's not a problem with the encoding...its a problem with the id3tag... the info abt the mp3...artist, song name, blah!!..

When you scroll down the playlist, realplayer scans the id3tags and if the id3tag is incorrect/corrupt or contains come special characters, realplayer hangs up...

i believe the player will scan the id3 tag only if u click on it.. i had the problem when i applied iphone theme because they have tweaked the player by changing the player's image and added more gif files into it. when i changed to default skin without any real player tweaks, i dint face the problem...

I experienced the same problem with those pre-loaded drm songs, deleted all that crap, now everything's fine.

those drm songs are gay. When I first got my phone and I refresh the library, it gets to about 60% and just closes RealPlayer. I never got to hear any of those songs...

The problem is the drm files, thats known offically. Theres a new flex out that supposed to solve the problem at the motorola service center

Well, yeah it happened to me to. And I have a feeling it happens more often because of the long, weird and missing tags in the songs. Those guys at the service center told me to clean up my tags. I did so, and I must say I observed some speed in browsing through the play list.
