why in Chinese?

Why is almost everything on this phone in Chinese language? all cool stuff, mod instructions, icons, games, themes, etc.... whyyyyyyyy? i know there r stuff in oour languages too but, you understand what i mean!!!

was this phone intended for chinese market only or what? why do you have to mod the frecuency (quadband) in order to support 850Mhz?

Uh yeah it was intended for the chinese markets. That's kinda why one can't purchase it anywhere else in a retail setting. (through authorized dealer).

go to setting (tool icon) click it, scroll down to the 5th word & tap, then choose English.

motorola put E6 mainly in asia market
this is why there are so many Chinese, India, etc
Freq in china are 800 and 1800MHz and GPRS / EDGE/. no 850

Just goes to show what China can do. People ouu and aww my phone, I tell them it's made in China. They are surprised! It's sad how lots of people are ignorant about China. Do they realize that a lot of brand name electronics now are made in China?

I love this phone even more because of it!

The 850mhz band is used only here in the US. Though no one has solid confirmation if this even works since I'm quite sure GSM bands are build into the hardware and this phone is sold as a Triband phone.
