Default ARSEHOLES AT MOTO SERVICE CENTRE (INDIA)

I just wanted to know one thing. How efficient is the white circle just above the battery? It is supposed to be a water indicator. So just wanted to know what are the limits it can detect.

Cos the moto service centre fucks are bastards.they say my warranty is void. all that happened was that a drop of water happened to fall on my phone when i had opened it up this mornin...i dont think they can call it "waterlogged" and void it...

iv already filed a complaint but dont think anything will materialize...

[edit]: just wanted to let out a bit of steam inside....mods can delete this if the language is inappropriate or the topic irrelevant

Koing, tell them to open the phone and check it for fungus, in bangalore even if the outer sticker is red and theres no fungus formation inside the warranty is accepted.

    Hey Konig,
You'll be surprised how fast fungus can develop on these boards. Is the white sticker inside red too? If so, thats a problem, that means you've well and truly got your phone drenched. If required I'll try to get you the head of CS South India, I suppose Mumbai comes in the SOuth India division contact info, that is if the inner sticker is white. Any probs with the phone? Hope you removed the battery immediately and dried out the phone.

    Regards,
    Akshay

hey akshay thanks for the reply...im not sure which other red spot u talkin bout though...iv seen only 1..the one beside the simcard....what i wanted to know was that whether just an increased level of moisture can give false positive results...

what happened was this...i was on my way to the service centre...took out the battery cover of the phone on my cousins request...and then it started raining..i covered it as soon as i could but not quick enuff..just shit luck...dunno if that is defined as drenched...anyways...ill be checkin on them anyways...

btw....the audio on the phone is back to normal...

    Konig,

Theres another indicator inside the phone, on the board. Thats the "killer" one, lol.

You've had totaly bad luck there, at the Bangalore CS, theres like 3-4 E6 coming in everyday, tototally drenched, just good as paper weights, I nowadays dont leave home without a plastic cover for the phone .

Hope your problem gets sorted out, else give me a pm, lets see if my friends from the CS here can do something.

    Regards,
    Akshay
