Default Youtube video downloads and convert to .rm for ROKR E6

Check out the link below to download the videos to PC from
    YouTube.
    http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/v...ic.php?t=11543

T1. he downloaded file from YouTube will have the
default name "get_video". After the file downloads to your PC,
    rename it to "xyz.flv ".

    2. Then run the Flv to Ipod converter to convert it into .mp4 ( High Quality 320 x 240 screen size )

    3. Then use RealProducer 1.9 to convert from .mp4 to .rmbv ( or .rm). This
will reduce the video size to 1/4th keep the same excellent quality.

NOTE: All YouTube videos are in excellent quality when converted this way
    and run on ROKR E6.

I use vixy as well. I was wondering how size compares. I find music videos tend to be about 6-8mb each using vixy in 3gp format. What do you guys get using other converters/formats?

RealProducer does the same... gives around 6Mb in rm format. You can checkout the series of Tom & Jerry videos that I have converted from youtube and posted earlier using this tool.

i use the "download helper" extension in firefox to dwld .flv file from youtube, then use winavi converter to convert it to avi....then use easy real media producer to convert it to rmvb....this makes it easy and very small, with great quality

I got the easiest way.I open Youtube with Opera browser and just let the video plays until finish. Then,I open my drive C:/document and setting/PC's user name/Application Data/Opera/Profile/Cache4 and look at the end of it and find something called "Opra...tmp".Copy it to my another drive then rename the file to .flv.Open Total Video Converter and convert it to MP4 high quality video. After finished,I use Easy Real Media to convert it to RM.
