Thx Man, I tried everyhing that Alpha told me to do on 3 different computers, but nuttin works..
Can you connect to radiocomm?. Have you tried activating these features the old fashioned way through seem editing?
I got the green light 1 time but nutting worked anyways.. I tried everything to get a green or pruple light on 3 different computers with every possible drivers and even with hyperterm... Nuttin works...
I can flash my phone no problem, so thats why I want these scripts integrated in the firmware? Is it posible? I see people modding the firmware all the time on thse forums.. Can anyone do me this favor if its possible to do?!?
I can do it but I need a linux distro installed. From what I know, adding/replacing files in the firmware can only be achieved under linux.
You should try cleaning out your drivers, installing the latest drivers and latest radiocomm.
No one has intergrated quadband and edge into the firmware yet because its pretty hard or at least thats what I assume.
If you want I can post the Motorola driver cleaner and you can try the above method.
sure that would be great!
Under USB modes, I only have modem, mass storage and camera, is that normal? should I have USBnet or something?
Im starting to think the problem is with my phone...
Couple of questions before I post the files.
What platform are you running, XP, Vista?
You said you have 08p firmware, is it ahman's firmware?
Yeah, its normal to have that. USBNet is for telnet/samba which has nothing to do with installing scripts
Runnig XP, 08p generic firmware no mods at all...
BTW, is it normal that radiocomm takes a freaking long time to boot up?
Yeah, that happens to me too. It takes about 5 minutes for me.
Ok try this in this procedure
1.Uninstall Radiocomm
2.Uninstall RSD Lite
3.Run USB Wipe
4.Restart computer
5.Install Motorola USB Driver 2.8.0.0
6.Install Radiocomm 11.2.0
7.Restart computer
8.Set the phone to Modem mode through Setup
9.On Radiocomm's first run, at the splash screen, set it to "GSM" and "TCIPUSB"
10.Wait until Radiocomm loads and then wait another 30 seconds.
11.Plug in phone and wait for the green light. Might take 1 minute
12.If there's a green light, post here and let me know you got it
If there's no green light, go to settings>>usb>>tick m-link usb driver. Wait a minute. If there's still no green light, go to settings>>TCPIP>>tick m-link USB LAN driver.
