if the phone is lagging, i doubt its just a screen issue. id go and get it serviced. that way that can replace any faulty parts that may have been moved/broken/etc from u dropping it,
Brief introduction: I am new to the forums however have been lurking for a while. Excellent board you guys have here!
Accident synopsis: my phone took a spill from approximately four feet from off the ground.
Landed and struck the pavement close to the bottom corner.
That was last night at approximately 9:00PM EST.
Today is when the problems started...
When I press the screen towards the center (for example in the address book) to select a contact the highlight bar skips down and up multiple entries... a loading box appears and then nothing.
I attempted to calibrate the screen, upper left corner successful, lower right corner successful, center of screen -- no response.
Overall things appear to be lagging.
I successfully flashed and reinstalled the firmware however that did not cure the problem.
Do you think the screen was damaged from the fall and is causing the above problems?
Does anyone have any experience with installing a new screen? For I found one new in wrapper on sale.
Please help! =(
I have been kicking myself in the ass all day long for being so careless.

Would that possibly explain the apparent dead spot on the center of the screen described above?
no i dont think so, the dead spot is cause u have a busted screen. is would still get it serviced
