Default jig browser really faster than Opera Mini?

Anyone download and install jig browser? I was looking to download zmplayer (I didn't know I had that app in my phone already), and I ran across this. I like the way it feels, especially that panning feature. I know this is a long shot, but there's no way to make it landscape mode? I've only played and fiddled with it for a couple minutes. It seems to respond much faster to input than Opera, but then again I have to point and tap around the menu a little more to get something done.

Just for kicks and giggles, I downloaded the browser using the Barcode reader application. I went to http://bg.jig.jp/dl_barcode.html, set my ROKR E6 camera to macro mode, fired up the Barcode Reader app and it instantly locked on and recognized the URL when I pointed it at my laptop screen. Kinda cool.... just when I thought my E6 was getting boring, it surprises me again...

well, for me the barcode reader is kind of useless to me since people don't use QR Codes (two-dimensional barcodes) here in the United States... I guess this is more popular in Japan. From what I know, people mostly use it to digitize contact information, hotlink URLs from print, etc... trading business card contact information is popular in Japan and is a social and business norm, but not so much here in the USA. The closest thing we use here are vCard attachments to email, and even that is not too popular.

Wiki has some good info about this...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QR_Code and you can make a QR code at http://qrcode.kaywa.com/

OK, i take my words back. I just downloaded Opera Mini 4 Beta and it is way better than jig. jig was nice for the few hours I had it, though. I liked the tabbed browsing feature of jig, but I much prefer the instant zoom feature of Opera Mini 4 Beta.
