Can we do something like this?
SyncML OTA is using GPRS connection to sync. E6 has usbnet to PC.
If we can make a fake GPRS connection to redirect the packet to usbnet (like A780) maybe we can sync direct to PC

moto4lin is for P2K phones and hence the A1200/E6 can't use it.
Thanks for the leads though, I'm sure that it's just a matter of time before there is a workable solution.

A little off topic, I know:
But in the absence of direct Evolution to E6 syncing .. I've gotten a stable setup using OTA. I'm actually a bit surprised by the speeds of it .. it's pretty much as quick as my Palm to Evolution via USB, even with 2 steps.
So I'm using syncevolution to sync EVO w/ ScheduleWorld, and using the SyncML OTA to bring it down to the E6.
I'm happy to be a beta tester of any efforts to do direct to PC syncing .. but this stop gap appears to be a stable intermediate measure.

i tried to install j2mesync on ubuntu but i am getting compile errors like
does any one have a installer .deb or .rpm
has any one succeeded in syncing
I can compile it and produce .deb with checkinstall.
It complain about bluetooth library in ./configure process (I have the development library for bluetooh), so maybe you can't sync with bluetooth.
But I never got it sync.
thanks bagus ,i would not mind, but at least i can try
Sorry, I'm forgot that .deb extension can't be attached.
the plugin does not showup in multisync![]()
I compiled my own multisync![]()
thanks bagus ,can i install over the previous version or i have to uninstall the old one
