.. this is useful especialy if you just flashed your phone and dont wanna end up restarting your phone between the mods ( saves some time)

I tested this a few times from scratch and it works everytime .. Now if someone else wanna confirms it works but I am already 100 %


Note to Fido user : this will make the name Fido display instead of Rogers wireless but unfortunetly it will go away after awhile and it will revert back to Rogers wireless I have no idea why ...

A big thanks from a fellow Canadian!!. This helps a lot especially for those who don't like restarting their phone a few times to apply multiple scripts.

Edit: Just applied it on 81.02p firmware. Everything works except the quadband edit. Tried it a few times. I just applied Alpha's quadband/edge script after trying yours and it worked. Maybe some sort of bug?. I don't know, thanks again though!

hmm weird , can someone else confirm that please ? Aslo are you sure applying Alpha's quadband and edge script didnt undo the other mods ?

it seems the quadband mode stays on my phone for some reason it will not go away after I undo it from the seem edit so I have no way of testing this ...

I have never applied a script on this fresh firmware, so there were no other scripts previously installed. I'm gonna try this new firmware 81.03p because apparantly a lot of bugs were fixed than the previous 81.02p firmware

Tested this again on the new firmware 83P and still doesn't work. Applied Alpha's script and it worked flawlessly. I notice when applying Alpha's script, it "does a lot more" in the green box than your script.

Needless to say, thanks for the effort but it doesn't work

you can do all the seem edits, and then restart at the end

first you saying only quadband not workin with the script , now you sayin its not workin at all ? it be pretty easy to add the quadband mod to it , I was just waiting for someone else to test this since it does the quadband for me .. it seems it doesnt do it for ya , so the odds are 1-1 yet , but it seems other then you and me theres inot much interest for this , so if you want ill add the quadband edit to the script and il post it here .

Hmm,
I've been trying for some time now to get Edge and Quad band working Via Alpha43's Script and now this one.
I have run both, I get no faster connection, and I still see G not E on the display.
I don't know how to check if I have Quad band working but I guess it doesn't matter since I use T- Mobile and they don't really have any 850Mhz just 1900... but I would still like the Edge to work!!!

I don't know, I guess I'll just wait for T-Mobile to get UMTS Running and go back to My Motorola V3X...
