Working SCREEN3

Thanks srwat. Right now, I have no idea where else to look for the UA String. If you see it in any of the .cfg files (other than ezx_opera.cfg), please let us know so we can try it out. You're in India, so I'm guessing that the stock .08 Screen3 profiles worked for you, since some of them were Hutch and Airtel. But since this isn't a Cingular supported phone in the US, we have to identify it as something else in order to access it.

Aside from that, we may just have to wait until Alpha and Admin finish their SEEM Map. This is probably going to be our best bet, as in the past with other phones, it was the SEEM that identified the phone to the network, and (I'm guessing) propagates the UA String. [Alpha, please let me know if I can help with that. Also, if you happen to stumble upon aforementioned SEEM, please let me know)

(Sidenote: SEEM 0117_0110 for other phones read the model number as "-v-3-i" or "-v-5-5-7", but for the E6, it read "S-U-M-A", so obviously, I'm not looking in the right place. der)

Screen 3 works for me after juggling around with some of the setup related settings. The good thing is that now both Screen 3 and Music ID are working... and working fine

I don't think there can be a tutorial here. My settings were not working with standard GPRS settings. I just changed to some other GPRS setting for a while (of course of some other provider) and then reverted to my provider's and it worked. I shall cut paste my provider's settings here later. But they may/may not be of use as they are for India.

It depends if someone can figure out how to get the handset to broadcast another UAProf (User-Agent) other than 'E6'. I remember that at one point Cingular made a decision only to support phones on its network....I'd once got the RAZR V3i right when it had come out and got it from Vietnam,....a lot of wap apps didnt work on the phone until Cingular actually added it to their line of phones and allowed that handset to have all wap functionality....

hey people this is the problem im facin.....the option of S3 is completely greyed out...

another thing iv noticed is that i cant seem to add channels in the ifo service setup.....could these two issues be interlinked???

im using a R533_G_11.12.06P

1 more thing: iv read that only 3 shortcuts are changeable....mine gives 4
