Games are usually in CG34 as you probably already know. But sometimes, people are weird and throw em' in CG41 w/ the LP. As far as Shortcuts are concerned thats an easy hack. In fact, search around, i have a script that will fix that. I'll mess w/ it, see if i can't find the games. I hate CMCC branding... I'm like 90% there to being able to debrand completely there are just a few kinks that i need to work out.

After parsing the CRAMFS sections I could not find any JAVA (JAR) apps anywhere. Any ideas?

Ditto. I parsed all the CramFS parts too. Can anyone who has the FW installed just extract it from their java folder? Is that possible?

If you put the f/w on your mobile, just go here in samba : /ezxlocal/.system/java/SystemApps/ there are the java apps

Is it possible to extract the JAVA apps without flashing?

I tried using the method you previously documented, but in this case while I could parse the file and extract the CRAMFS, I could not find the JAVA apps.

EDIT: I just tried opening the jars with winrar and it says "the archive is unknown or damaged". I don't know if it will work but you can try.

Awesome!!! Thanks for these games. Did you extract them from the firmware itself or from the phone after you flashed? Only Callaway Tour and Legen EOL work because they don't require a license to install. But Legend EOL is in Chinese so I can't even read it to play it (unless you can change it to English language). The rest have drm encryption I guess and need a valid license because the ones provided do not work. But anyway, thanks for the golf game!

can anyone else vouch for the increased camera/video recorder quality?

illicit - I compared the bitrate and file size of two videos. One captured with 12.08 and other with 81.02 and can confirm the file size was considerably higher with 81.02. Unfortunately, those videos got erased when I installed XP again. Maybe someone else can vouch for me.

Personally though, I don't like the heavy branding of this firmware. If I can't figure out how to debrand it then I'm going back to 08p hybrid

The Camera seems about the same, no difference.
