The f/w is cool..
But dude i hav a problem in using skin ass.
The theme is storing in /skins/running..
It is situated in phone memory..
Dude its a prob...
Hw can i store these theme in memory card using skin ass.
It is showing this when i istall theme...
"since the themes storage folder was assined, skinasst has been monioring & reporting changes from this folder to detect ,etc...."
wat is we hav to do wit theme storage folder..

SkinAsst manages two folder of skin data. The first is myskin/Running under Files Manager, this is place stores skins that are ready for use and are showed in color scheme list, so you can go to setup/color scheme then choose one of them to use as an internal pre-loaded skin.

The second is Theme Storage Folder that SkinAsst let you freely specify a folder then assigns this function for it. What is it? Like its name, it is the folder that is specially used for storing your own skins/themes data on memory card. "So what folder it is?" You can specify any folder for this function, evenly you can create new one and then assign it as Theme Storage Folder. "How to assign a folder to Theme Storage Folder?" In case that you have never assigned it before, just install a skin by browsing to a pskn file or mtf file and clicking on it, SkinAsst will install it and prompt & guide you to specify a folder as Theme Storage Folder.

Since a folder was specified to Theme Storage Folder, anytime you run SkinAsst in App Menu and click on Update button, SkinAsst will check changes from this folder to detect new themes and then automatically install them for you. And, once a theme is installed successfully, it also is moved to this folder automatically for you.

"What is the difference between Running folder in Files Manager anf this Theme Storage Folder?" As I told above, Running folder stores installed skins only, other than Theme Storage Folder such is place stores not-yet installed skins data and is the place stores your external skins collection. Theme Storage folder is frequently updated by you (add new skin data to here) and by SkinAsst (moves skin packages after installing to here)

"I have my own skins for my phone, so what and how I have to do to install them into phone?" Ok, just open Files Manager and browse to the pskn or mtf file of the theme you like, click on it, SkinAsst will automatically popup and install it for you.

"But in case that I have many skins and want to install all of them?" Yes, just put all of them in some folder, then open SkinAsst from App Menu, click on Load and then Browse button, a folders tree will appear for your browsing, just browse to that folder and click OK, SkinAsst will auto detect all skin in there and install all of them for you.

hi workingman updated his firmware with mpkg hack on motofunvn any one tried that update i have also seen the post of erichtan hi erich is it better than nta v2 fw because the only thing missing in nta v2 fw is VR PLS SOMEONE CAN DO IT FOR ME HOW TO INCLUDE VR IN ENGLISH IN NTA V2 FW PLS HELP BY THE WAY THANKS WORKINGMAN FOR YOUR NICE FW

My Fw is working fine...
One more problem , Memory card cannot be detected by my laptop when i plug E6 with USB Cable...it just charges the E6, tried on other machines but unable to...

i flashed with VR version:
- EDGE disable (but can be enable)
- camera better than before
- support muti java apps
- opera mini runs smoothly
- rich features (good work workingman!)
- skin management is good
- S3 disable
- slightly slower than NTA2, but much faster than previous workingman
- haven't faced problem

Hello

Has anything changed in the filesystem used for Workingman's firmware vs. others? Previously my SD card was detected as 4GB(non-SDHC) but now it reads as 2GB. I formatted it on my cellphone...so I don't know what file format it is.

What is the maximum size of the SD card on workingman's firmware? Has anyone else managed to get their 4GB card working.

Well to fix it what I did was reformat it in windows then format it again on the phone. Then the proper size showed up again.

I formatted it at first in Vista x64 with Fat32 and then put the SD card into the phone. The phone said that it was an invalid file format and offered to format the card for me. Well I did a quick format and sure enough the card showed a 4GB capacity again.
