i want to modifile the 08p genric
-how to extarct arabic (right to left ) libraries from this firmware [ http://wap.motorolafans.com/forums/e...c-working.html ]and put it in 08p
- build arabic dictionary and make it work next to the english
- add mpkg hack by fox
-add fox.alarm as native alarm
- run multiple java application at the same time
-add fingerpad and startup1.txt support
- real player libraries from a1600
- delete chinese language
-delete screen3
-add ''usb lan '' in usb mode menu in 08p
-enable edge in 08p genric or i have to use 22p genric as a base firmware
put my information in firmware info file
i hope any one have an idea to help me to put it here

Startup1.txt Support: Split a modded pack, and extract a file called S80autoon from Cramfs-Root-CG41/etc/rc.d/rc2.d
Now, in the generic pack that does not support startup scripts, place this files in the same directory namely, /etc/rc.d/rc2.d
Simply repack the firmware, test it by splitting after compiling, and flash your phone.

Same Applies For Other Questions You Asked.

Now to test if your Startup script is working, use a common mount bind command in there, something that changes your font or the multitheme hack.


Delete Chinese language - Cramfs-Root-CG41 - Contains the Language Pack. Just Do Some Exploring.

Delete Screen3 - Just Remove The File And Also The Link From The Registered File. That Is What I Did In My First Firmware.

Add ''USB Net'' In USB Mode - As Far As To My Knowledge This Requires Complex Modding. The Best Is To Copy Files From A Firmware That Already Has This Feature

Enable Edge In 08p Generic Or I Have To Use 22p Generic Firmware - The Easiest Method Is To Change A Firmware That Already Has Edge Enabled.

Put My Information In Firmware Info File - For This I Guessed. Actually I Had A Go At The Text Files Present At The Folders. I Opened All One By One Until I Got The File Which Looked Like The Firmware Details Showing The Firmware Version.

extract the CG43 and reaplace the file in attachment with the original one in

cramfs-root-CG43\usr\lib\ezx\lib

this file for 08p only in other F/w will make poblems
