@larrylls, it can be done. i think just one script has to be added. in fact, why dont you try to do it!! iv explained in brief in the a1200 firmware section. just check workingmans firmware for the required script which will be in CG43!

@ak47, i cant answer that. iv not been able to get info service since april 2007!! crappy sim. some other member may help u out with that.

Well, using this firmware with old 'am' and libezx is not a very good option...

Instead, I cracked the mpkg of the new 'am' and also enabled multiple java apps and startup scripts, but I have only one problem...The icons in the main menu come as exclaimation marks(mpkg apps running perfectly though) ... Do you or anyone else have any idea of how to solve it?

Main advantage:
Directly uninstall mpkg apps, like java apps without switching modes or anything

I'm also trying to enable the usbnet mode in the usb options... I added the binaries in /usr/sbin but still can't get it to work... Help appreciated

The only reason I used that method was that a close friend needed it. Just added the files quickly, and stuck with it. I agree when you say that its not the best way to do it, but it is effective too, and can exhibit the "generic" nature.

As for the binaries, do you have all 4? I remember seeing a method on how to addusbnet option, but cant seem to remember where. Will tell you as soon as i find it!

P.S,
there are many libraries needed to be replaced to grantee that Arabic language is working great [from right to left].

btw, i think amitn18 is uploading his verson today. You can ask him to upload to 4shared or something before he starts doing it! If its not done in a couple of hours, ill do it from office. Hope that solves your problem!
