Guys, I just finished

R533_G_11.12.10P~09P_The_Beast_supermod


Features:-
1. The FW is a hybrid of 09P and 10P for a balance between feature and speed.
2. SmartAsst. SysInfo, ApplyFont, Barcode Reader, Syslink, Funlight and Xcap preloaded.
3. Camera shutter lag minimized a bit.
4. Autorun folder and Startup script working perfectly. To use Startup script, put it in Autorun folder instead of MMC root.
5. I have put my favorite wallpapers, ringtones and Themes.
6.Three Themes included, Blackk, Mission to sun, and default white.
7. Default volume table replaced with a better one.
8. You have to enable Quadband & Edge after flashing this FW.
9. USBnet included in the USB mode menu.

Default java games are removed for better speed.


I wish you will like the firmware. And I must thank nikhil, workingman, angry_machine and authors of fantastic stickies of this forum.

Note: Sorry guys I forgot. It may show flash failed, but don't worry, remove the battery for 1/2 minutes and restart the phone.

Sorry guys I forgot. It may show flash failed, but don't worry, remove the battery for 1/2 minutes and restart the phone.

Jimi, I did what you said but still the same.

Flashing Failed!

As a result (i think) for example when the phone asks for pin code, i cannot see the number pad.

Graphical UIs are mostly scrambled, and most applications fail to launch.

Also a strange "hiss" sound is coming from the speaker.

Any idea about how to solve flashing problem?

Ok..this is what I did. It will show flashing failed, disconnect your phone from the usb cable, remove the batt n leave it for ard 30 seconds. Put back the batt and then switch it on and everything will be fine.

My impression about this fw:
1) The sound quality is better and louder.
2) The overall speed is SLIGHTLY slower than that of the viet+Lambor.
3) Camera and video are fine but SLIGHTLY slower than the viet+Lambor. (It takes longer time to activate the camera)
4) Chinese input is included (Thank God!! )
5) mpkg are usable.
6) Autorun functions well except that the animation (On N Off image) still cant be used.

Overall, this is a great fw with some improvements, thank you jimi for this wonderful fw. One suggestion, I don really like the boot image (the green monster???) ;P is it possible to change it to the original or better picture?

I did again and again what you mentioned..But no results.
Still scrambled menus, invisible keypad, etc..

The problem is with my phone, or sth with the firmware??

1) what fw were u using before u switched to tis??
2) Did ur former fw support autorun function?
3) If ur former fw has autorun, did u put in any skin files in the "skin" folder in the autorun?

This is my assumption, if ur memory card contains the autorun folder which has skin files in it, after you flash to tis fw and switch on the phone, there will be confusion or error in loading the embedded skin, wat I suggest u to do is to go to Setup, go to "colour scheme", then choose any available skin.

I found tat the camera quality of tis fw is not as good as that of the Viet+Lambor, is there any way to improvise it? camera is rather important...
