Is it possible to add startup scripts to this without extracting the firmware? The only problem for me is the .PKG manager thats built in isn't working and that it lacks startup scripts.

Greetings everyone. Thanks goes to XIBEI for this one. I've been able to use this firmware for the past week and I really like it. I was originally on generic .08p. I hope this will convince a few of you to give it a try. The best part I've found about this is there is a pkg manager included in the firmware. As most of you know, in the .10p firmwares, you can't install pkg files.
-Edge and Quadband are not enabled.
-Network Time & Voicemail Bug scripts need to be run
-USBNet, Modem, Web Camera, & Mass Storage USB modes
-English and Chinese language support
-Multiple Camera sounds and silent options
-Faster camera, better quality as result
-Equalizer enabled in Real Player
-No screen 3
-No Music ID, but can be installed successfully
-Business card reader
-No bar code reader
-PKG manager
PKG Manager:
The pkg manager works. You can actually uninstall pkg programs and java programs with it. The bad news for us English speakers, its in Chinese. Its the only program in Chinese. I don't think you can change the menu in it to English. It would be excellent if someone can translate it or provide a user guide in English. Its pretty easy to figure out to install pkg files, but there are quite a few other options that I'm not too sure about.
***Update***
Ok, the package manager is pretty cool. I finally took the plunge and decided to start choosing options and taking notes of what happens. I've come up with a list here that corresponds to the screen shot of the menu
1 -install (click on it and it lets you browse for a file to install)
2 -remove (choose an installed program from the list and pick this to remove it)
3 -still don't know this option
4 -turns on/off uninstall options of the program you select in the list
5 -extract programs as pkg/jar
6 -an editor of some sort maybe??
7 -reboot
8 -this options does some sort of uninstall/reinstall or enable/disable for all the apps not native to the firmware(pkg/java)
9 -about the software (version info and stuff like that)
**Please keep in mind that I do not know Chinese and these are merely observations of what I noticed through simple trial and error.
The PKG manager works pretty good for the most part. So far I've installed:
-Backup & Restore Now
-Ezxpopup
-Show Q
-Busy Box
-Linloader
-MySwap
-Skin and Splash installer
-Reboot
-Carrier Key Changer
-Java Domain Changer
-LoopCap
-eXMMS
-RockBox
Programs I could not install:
-Java Hacker
-Smart Assistant
-Phone Ghost
**These are the only three I haven't been able to install as of yet. I have not tried to install anything else yet.
***Edit*** Installing the above programs really doesn't matter anymore since I've figured out the pkg manager for the most part and found alternative programs to phone ghost and java hacker that install and operate just fine.
That's pretty much all I can think of off hand. I tried to upload the file here but kept getting an error. Maybe one of the mods can up it here. For now though, I put it up on rapidshare, here is the link:
