great ! I finaly understand ! , I do haver the application that automaticly mounts aroound 20 skins ,I couldnt get it to work becuz I didnt want to reformat my sd card ..

Now this f/w proves the potential of our ezx phone opnce aagin .. wait a few month you ll see all we ll be able to do , even without the kernel !!!!

yea well it has been updated again lol 09-11 is the lates version . I an currently workin on translating it , also please back up the content of your sd card as it will not work with this f/w you will need to reinstall evereything .

haha , well those 2 f/w are not in the same league at all ..


mine is a slightly enhance version of yan0 ' o7p version ....


this one by asmotoe2 definitely a notch up technology speakin , for example as you might not know the E6 and E6e are 2 diff phones , motorola recommends using f/w E6e for E6e phones only , tho it works on both and I dont believe there is a diffrence in hardware but there is definitly a speed response diffrence when using the appropriate f/w for your phone ..
asmotoe2' s f/w will detect wether or not your phone is E6 or E6e and apply proper f/w . the fact that he could include 4 skin as default choice instead of 3 is another proof of his skills ... the way he has the config set up in his f/w is totaly diff and new . but it causes certain problems , phone wont read stuff installed from your previous f/w it also requires you reformat your card before you can use the new apps available for this phone (like the multiskin app) none of his feature are in a final satge tho , witch is why he updates it often ( 3 times since its release less then 2 weeks ago)

SO yea its way better then mine , but if someone wants something satble and trouble free , I d wait for his final version (god knows when :P ).

Ok i installed this Firmware. And i must say, im impressed. I added the iRoke Skin to the Color Scheme in the setup. Now i can change between iRoke skin and default skin w/o having to installing it again. Mass Storage dosn't work for me, but since im using a 4G SD card, it wouln't matter if i fix it or not. Telnet works fine. I was able to transfer all my programs from my Original SD to the newly formatted SD(Without the need to re-install). The only flaw about this firmware, is the programs are in chinese. I have attached a screen cap of the programs that come with the firmware. Anyone know what are they do?

hey , I am workin on translating :P this is waht I said since day 1 , and yes if you back up your system (like I suggested ) you can reinstall or simply recopy them to the sd and it will work ( you can then flash back and forward to other f/w without the need to reformat the card or reinstall).

the reason usb doesnt work for you is becuz you have the multi skin thingy workin .. just click on the lin file again , it will disinstall and you will be able to access phone via usb again .

there is only 1 app that I dont know what it does yet and its called syslink (the one with the green arrow and the white sheet of paper ) the others are XCAP ( takes screenshot) reboot, time boot, lin loader , mpkg , font installer (very nice app ) and last but not least the swap memory app , the greatest thing about this f/w is that it will let you access your phone via USB when using swap .

hope this helps , translating is pretty long becuz most tranlste site will give you a word by word translation and sometimes it doesnt make sense ...So yea itll probably take me a week to finalize translation , and I suppose by then they will be another release by asmotoe2 ...

if any one wishes to help translate just pm me I ll send you a bunch of stuff to translate .
