PartialFlashFile: Get startup scripts working on 08p

WARNING: This is ONLY for firmware version 08P, if flashed on any other version software it will most DEFINATELY KILL your phone.

There are several users on the original firmware 08p who would like to retain the "original" nature of the phone but still enjoy the added functionality of startup scripts etc.., this partial flash file that consists of the Ram loader of the 08p firmware and corresponding CG43 will allow you to do so.

Steps:
1. Unzip the file
2. Flash your phone with the file

Note: Flashing with this file will not reset nor remove user settings and data. Your ezxlocal and ezx user folders will remain as they are. After the reflash you wont even realize its been reflashed , the phone retains all its originality.
After reflashing the new CG43 contains the libraries required to run the MPDPlayer and exmms2 player as well as additional tools such as busybox.
Startup scripts maybe enabled by creating the startup1.txt file in the mmc with the scripts require to run at startup, the startup1.txt file must be encoded in UNIX type format, for further information please see the several other threads regarding startup scripts.

pls help recently i flashd with your fw for support startup file..
but there is a big problem

1. flap function not working even though i close flap

2. usb charging function not working

pls pls pls rep soon.
so should i flash again with original 08p fw or what?
or which another fw can i flash on 08p?
how much time will take for full flashing?

Chetan did you flash it on a MING? its only for the E6, I apologise that I have'nt mentioned it in the first post, but this is in the E6 section. Reflash with your old firmware and everything should be fine

Mr.AKSD, I have flashed this file using radiocomm successfully but the startup1.txt in mmc/mmca1 doesnt executed.. PLEASE HELP ME.. HOW CAN I ENABLE THE STARTUP.TXT FILES????????

ezx_boot.cfg not found in ezxuser/download/appwrite.. will this be the reason i cannot run startup files.. however i had a sucessfull .. partial flash by aksd using radicomm please help....

No thats no the issue, the thing is the startup1.txt in /mmc/mmca1 must be in UNIX format. You cannot create a startup1.txt in Notepad, you need notepad++ which can be found in google. In settings in Notepad++ change the save format to unix, then it should work.

it works eventhough the fonts are not applied to the menu items... only other texts are in the executed font.. ANY HELP AKSD
