Thread: Pictureflow v3.1

  1. Default Pictureflow v3.2

    Pictureflow v3.2

Read the readme.txt inside the archive for details (it took me a whole 10 minutes to write it, so you better! :P)

Note: If you notice any lag, just scroll through all pictures once and it will get smooth. Also the first picture you zoom will take longer, after that any zooming will be quicker.

    [Pictureflow v3.1 - v3.2]
+ Fixed cache, it was slightly bugged in v3.1. It now again caches only new files (through comparison)
+ Minor code fixes and clean ups. Added source code
+ If folder contains no images, pictureflow main window shows up. No more black screen at first install confusing people

    [Pictureflow v3.0 - v3.1]
+ Fixed blank screen bug. The application can now deal with directories or file names with spaces

    [Pictureflow v2.1 - v3.0]
+ Added option to show/hide buttons
    + Added reflection blurring
+ Changed exit button to back. In portrait mode down button and in landscape mode right button act as "back". (I know that if you enable buttons you will see "exit" written in place of "back" on the button, but I'm too lazy to change the image, change it if you want to inside pictureflow/images inside qtdownload folder :P)
+ Added Portrait/Landscape option. Check out the speed in portrait mode!
+ Fixed folder selection procedure (people entering the desired folder and then clicking on Set Directory should get the desired folder)
+ Added thumbnail cache (see readme)
+ Swapped back and zoom button location
+ Added command line support. You can launch pictureflow by choosing "Open With" on an image in the file explorer and pictureflow will open the folder in which the selected image is located. However if you press the "back" button and press "Start" button, it will open the folder selected under settings (thanks to bikasu for suggestion)
+ Pictureflow now displays the folder immediately on launch. Press the back button to access settings or to exit the application.

    [Pictureflow v2 - v2.1]
+ Fixed bug with zoom in/out when fast zoom and high quality zoom enabled
    + Added Enable/Disable reflections option
+ Added one-touch scroll gesture (click to scroll like in blackhawk's build)
+ Added zoom in gesture (Two vertical drags)
    + UI improvements
    + Added key events

Thanks to all those who tested this.

This is the last pictureflow version from me. There's a lot of room for improvement especially given how inefficiently it has been coded by me. Perhaps someone having better knowledge could enhance it. I've tried to explain as much as I can in headers in the source code.

    Shot bro.

    A job well done!
It is working very well - I like the gesture for zoom (or rather just the fact it's there - by the way, it seems two vertical drags -> from bottom to top, goes into zoom mode, and not top to bottom).
    Nice little icons as well.

    Thank you for the mention.

    Glad everybody liked it

@RasahCrigis: I did try to make the buttons semi-transparent but was not possible at the moment. If I ever release an updated version, I will put in a solution
