Arrow APP: NewMenu.pkg - Creates new Categories in App Manager

NewMenu - allows you to add new categories under the App Manager

This post was edited by kiwi99 on Dec 2 to put all instructions in one place.

Edit Dec 23: English version now available. See http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=15450

Credits: All credit goes to LiuZhou RiHui wcmhrb for writing the app and to dellsonic for finding it at ccmove and figuring out how it works.

This application allows you do the following
    • Add new categories to the list of categories that you can assign applications to in App Manager (eg Books, Maps, etc)
    • Hide the User1 and User2 categories.
    • Rename or delete any new categories that you create.
It does not allow you to modify or delete any of the native categories (ie Games, Office, etc).

yes, u can " Change Category " as usual among apps icon.

what u can do for this Menu.pkg on the phone itself,

    1) create some of new category ...
    e.g - new category name " Personal, System, Browser & Player ",
it is not limited to 4 new category .... needs more create more.

    2) hidden User1 & User2 category ...
User1 & User2 category as cannot be deleted / modified,
it only go on hidden mode - first transfer all apps icon in the
User1 & User2 to new category before make them hidden.
FYI: there is a option to cancel the hidden mode category.

    3) modify new category u created ...
means, cancel and change new category name u created
e.g - changed the name from category " Personal to Private " .
