So is this just another application that I will have to open every time I want to use it, or will it take the place of the envelope on the top bar of the main screen?

Is there any way to make it fully replace the default messaging?

Edit - I've tried it out and I think it's too much of an annoyance to continually have to open up a program to send a message. If the keypad were as large as this on the regular E6 messaging, I'd be happy with this. I remember someone trying to redo the regular keyboard... is anyone still doing this?

Great app man. Thanks alot. been waiting ages for modifications to be made to the quicksms app but this my friend is far better. Like others have said, the return button doesn't work as it should. also being able to move the cursor with the D-pad would be great.
The addition of a few of the commonly used symbols would be, good as well as auto switch back to the QWERTY keyboard after entering numbers or symbols. Apart from a few minor things, definitely one of the best apps i've installed on my ROKR. Great work man. two thumbs up!
