3) Access number from contacts.. This is already available - Click the joypad (center button) to open up the contacts list from where you can select the Senders number.

It doesn't work for me!
I press the centre button and nothing happens!!

EDIT: Oops. It does work.. You're supposed to press it after you press 'send'..

ok got it working, it seems to conflict with using a startup script for your custom font "myfont.ttf" i renamed startup1.txt and myfont.ttf so it wouldnt be recognized, and voila... i can use the program with no hassle...

Anyone experienced this problem as me? i hope this helps... btw, im still hoping for the "=" and "return" keys in future versions. Nevertheless, this program roks!!!! i could live without custom fonts...

Glad you could text now, eruhuan! That may be the reason why I'm able to send messages with no problems... I don't have custom fonts and don't have startup1.txt on my phone...

Also, a suggestion... Maybe you can use bezman's layout, it looks soo cool... I saw that on another sms thread and it looks good!

Also waiting for the final release! The one that automatically scrolls down while texting, heheh... Ü Great job! Keep up the good work!

You know what would make this great?

1. if you could lay the keyboard in landscape mode (along the height of the screen) , so that the keys can be spread farther and hence a bigger keyboard
2. if we could have an optional 1(abc)-2(def) type keyboard!

doesnt hurt to wish

good ideas, landscape layout is awesome for qwerty keyboard and portrait for T9 layout
