APP: E6 Browser: Opera mini 4 beta 2

Is there a way install Opera on E6 without having the app connect to opera.com on 1st install? Reason is that I have a net conn which does not allow me to connect to all sites, except a few allowed by the ISP, so after I install Opera - 1st time it tries to connect to mini.opera.com and then times out!! I have downoaded and installed BOTH the jad as well as jar files

i was using the Opera Mini 4.2 beta quite well till yesterday, but i today, i did the quadband and edge hack by alpha and Opera 4.2 stopped working....

i can still browse at an improved speed from the preinstalled Opera mobile and even Opera Mini 3.1(stable) but connection times out if i try to use opera mini 4.2 beta and it isnt even starting now...

please guide and help.....

i loved the landscape mode by the way.....!!! and am really missing it right now... so better be quick in providing solutions...

m new to this community ... i have a problem with loading opera mini 4.2 on my e6.... wenever i try to install it it says plz wait while opera collects information about ur fonts....nd at 16% it exits suddenly ..., plz sumone help...m currently using f/w:R533_G_11.12.08...

Seems like you have a custom font installed.Switch to the generic font and retry.

So you never applied a font? I mean if you did not make modifications to the phone then the font would still have been generic.
There should not be a problem then.Did you ever mod your phone like changing fonts , flashing , etc.?
If not, then there should not be a problem.Anyways here is the method:

thanks nw its working... i gave my phone fr repairs they modded to .10p.... so i modded back to .08p... from modmymoto.... thankz fr ur help...
