Got the DOS and windows 3.1 working, although the cursor is way off in windows, makes it more of a conversation piece than something actually useful. Best part, is I got the old Qbasic working.... and for those who remember... I played nibbles for the first time in forever.. I was able to write a few small useless programs in basic, all seems to be working fine.

I got the calmira working also, i guess it just emulates win95, also runs very slow, and again, as of right now, not very useful. but fun to look at

it worked... was suposed to be ~/mmc/mma/dos or smth...

Anyways, was wondering, can you install the app (like C++) using a computer, and then use dosbox to run it? save's time.......

I sucessfully installed Turbo C!! But wen i open turboc.exe it doesn't open... instead it shows some error 005 like that...

Ok i just followed the steps
I installed DOS, created a folder on my memory card root called DOS

but when I load into DOS...it comes up as Z: and not C:


any ideas?

Hi there,
After whole lot of experiment finally i could install dos on my E6 now if u wish u may also try ....

ADVANTAGES of INSTALLING DOS- u can play old dos based games on ur E6 , u can run old DOS based languages on ur E6(Still working on it) , u can install windows (3.2 or 3.1) on ur E6..

To make dos work dwnload the file i uploaded
copy it 2 ur root directory of ur phone
Install it with MPKG
now connect ur phone with PC as mass storage device & create a folder dos in ur mmc
disconnect ur phone & run dos frm phone
it should dos mounted (like this) & should show c:


4 playin games copy da DOS game folder into the DOS folder of ur mmc & open da folder in dos mode usind CD command when the folder is open type the name of the Exe & the game should run smoothly............

I hav sucessfully opened gw basic through DOS & hav written few programs !its awsome really makes me think of old days when we used 2 do programming in gwbasic!!

i've downloaded many 3-5 m.b. dos gams (tonbrider,vollyboll.)frm dosgames.com but in most of them some sound driver utilize.... error accurs
