APP: HideFolder V1.3(HPF) UPDATED

Are you trying the latest version? The one with the new icon? The older one v1.3b was saving the password to the HideFolder, so as soon as you uninstalled it then it would'nt work. Try the latest one. The problem has been fixed. Sorry about the inconvenience.

EDIT: Replace the HPF folder in the .system/QTDownLoad/ with this folder, it should work. Sorry again about the inconvenience

Great! Works fine with the hpf212 folder replacement. Tried hide/unhide button and thats all that i need.

One thing though...The HideFolder Heading on the startup would be too obvious that were hiding something, when the idea is to hide and not tell that we are hiding folders.

Install hpf690 on phone

then replace contents from .system/QTdownload/hpf folder with contents from hpf212.zip

Well.. The second install works for me with that correction, but Im unable to uninstall the application (no selection allowed in the popup and no uninstall voice in the Uninstall Application) and now I have two icons installed and working =)

After all, how can I set a password or change it? It does all by itself (ie changes and sets the password with no input of mine).. any hint? =)

mine too.. where can i set the password because there is no input appears when asking for password then it automatically set its password..

For those who are unable to use it refer post by yz225684 above

There are some other methods to hide any specific folder

1 : Place your personal files in \.system\ ,they won't be visible,use My Favorites (download link inserted) which'll show u the contents of .system & telnet,exit My Favorites to hide these files.
2 : Using ekonsole rename the file which u want to hide by puting '.' behind the file name file will be hidden & to unhide again rename by removing '.'
Ex :
if u want to hide folder named "abc" in \mmc\mmca1 then execute following comands in ekonsole :
# mv /mmc/mmca1/abc /mmc/mmca1/.abc [ENTER]

to unhide :
# mv /mmc/mmca1/.abc /mmc/mmca1/abc[ENTER]
