    @imahottguy
    Your input will be greatly appreciated, for the customised password heres how far I've got:
    I have a file called setpswd.txt in the HideFolder folder, which was generated by notepad in the E6. Bascially I have a copy of busybox in the folder too so:
    $BUSYBOX cmp pswd.txt setpswd.txt > /dev/null
    if [ ?$ == 0 ]
    then.....blah blah blah password accepted else blah blah blah password rejected
    but ?$ is not recognised

    another idea which I cant seem to implement is grep a variable
    $SET_PWD='cat setpswd.txt'
    if grep 'echo $SET_PWD' pwd.txt
    this is'nt working either.

    Thanks again mate.

    Regards,
    Akshay

    What I was thinking was as a first run the pass would be default 1234. Then it will prompt you to change it, you will input it like this: Open a new text file called 'pass', input a password (no spaces), click save. Then the prog will proceed. Every subsequent run after that will run the inputed password against the pass file. I haven't my laptop right now to test the theory behind this. But yeah I will work as hard as I can.
    I'm so cool, I had the E6 before the E2 launched! Wait. Never mind...

    UPDATE: A user set password verison is almost ready, only have to get the Interface sorted out, adding an edit password panel and stuff. The core is all done and 100% working , like imahottguy said intitally the password is 1234 on the first pass, after that you can change it.

    Tomorrows release will have te following features:
    1. user changeable password
    2. Application name will be changed to HPF(Hidden Personal Folders)
