its comparable to the k700, but without phone. i can say its audio is the best ever among all hp. and its fully customizable. tons of hacks has been found for it, and ppl has been writing flash/flex files for it like nothing

yup E398 is good... you can make it Quadband...
or add Radio on multimedia menu...even add video
recording to it too...and voice recording, and so on...
just reflash with the right firmware + flex and you got it...

Well the quadband didnt work out, did it? And for radio you need a special accesory, and by flashing i with the v620 flash, it loses the transflash option. And with the voice recording, the only way to record is pressing the button on the headset. So that isnt really practical. But it is a beautiful phone tho. And not expensive.

e398 is amazing to me . it is not just a mobilephone but a phone seems like a monster most of moto's flex or seems can be uses on it or even the systems.and now most of the e398 users are be fond of turn it into rock e1. In mainland China the most high visit rate Forums for mobile is for 398.

I've had my E398 for about 8 months now and I still love the thing even though its slightly outdated, there plenty of games out there and lots of usefull apps that turn it into a office phone.

Granted if I haven't had the knowledge on how to hack/flash/update (and theres alot of info out there) this phone, then it would be a crappy but cool looking little phone.

cause there is no radio h/w inside E398...
