    Could you provide us with a copy of your cramfs image?
    You can dump it with dd... we could put it somewhere for download....

    Thanks

    There already is a precompiled cramfs image, the link is in the howto. Btw what do you think of the guide? Is it any good?
    Yes, but does it run Linux?

    @maxx_730
    The opie instruction guide looks good, the only thing I can think of is that in the instructions the first partition goes from 1 to 100, and the second (for OPIE) goes from 100 to 983; wouldn't this leave (on a 1GB card) only ~100 MB for SD storage and ~900 MB for the OPIE cramfs image?

    Currently I have a opie cramfs image with both qte and opie compiled w/ debug options, this makes the net image much bigger than a normal (non debug) compile. Right now my cramfs is about 101 MB and (also for a 1GB card) I set the first partition from 1 to 850, and the second from 851 to 983 which was enough for the debug version of the opie cramfs.

    I also particularly like the line about "if you dont know how to do this, you're a retard", nice touch!

    Also, it is not necessary, but I found it useful to put the "mount -t cramfs ..." into the startup.txt file on the SD (for e680i) which sets everything up as the phone boots.
