the filesystem on the second partition from your mmc is ext2.
this is wrong, it has to be ext3!

Very good!!! miss some apps but it works and make calls!!!!! i just couldnt recive, the phone doesnt ring.
Maybe in the very near future we can switch to openezx and have a fully working OS.

I had the same problem (on a A1200 firmware 40p)
my solution:
2 fat16 partitions:
Partition 1: mkezx.pkg instaled
Partition 2: mkezx decompressed image
and it worked.
but... dpkg (and another tools) make symlink:
mkdir /ezxlocal/dpkg
cp -R /ezxlocal/mmc/var/lib/dpkg/* /ezxlocal/dpkg/
dpkg --configure -a --admindir=/ezxlocal/dpkg
now we have running mkezx on fat16
