thanx asadqq,
i got the file now im able to compile and run, but when i use the ffmpeg to convert the out.yuv file it gives some error and its not able to convert it.
is there any other software to convert the file

what option is breaking ffmpeg, is it 'pix_map'?
I hope this option is part of standard distribution - though the command line help doesn't list it - I guess am not using some patched version of ffmpeg??

maybe latest version of ffmpeg might fix your issue
the version in 3GP_Converter034 (windows) is build 4759
not sure of the version on my linux box - don't have access to it right now.

hmm, the sensor (MT9M111 for A780) seems to be capable of doing quite a lot, its just the phone thats limiting us

The datasheet (link here) says:

SXGA (1,280 x 1,024) - 15 fps at 54 MHz
QSXGA (640 x 512) - 30 fps at 54 MHz

That should get lot of developers interested I guess
