now it's possible to send SMS while script is running but not possible to receive... at least this is my case and also the case of some more people on spanish forum.Originally Posted by ageraldnaveen

Great job Gerald ! You are da king !!!![]()
Now if only you could respect the vibration option in the profile, it would be the icing on the pudding. Your script should look at the current ring type in the profile and decide if Vibration is necessary before starting it.![]()

Please try this if you suffer from problem receiving SMS. I am able to receive, send SMS, make/receive calls.. i hope this constitutes the basic usage of the phone. I hope something new does not come up
Thanx for finding this out chrisjorsil. Great job! I too had problems in receiving SMS, but my stupid brain never suspected my app![]()

now I can receive and send SMS while your script is running
great job !
thanks a lot
I'm sorry ageraldnaveen but I'm also having trouble with the third version, when I start your app gprs connections don't work, even if I run the stop script they don't, so I have to restart my phone.![]()
Seems that your app is damned.
-Think linux or die-
I confirm, GPRS does't work properly when script is running.
Anyway, your brain is so faraway to be stupid. . .
Come on, I encourage you to solve this small issue, at the end you will get it !!
I also confirm the problem. In parallel we'll check if there are other connecting effects.
Come on Gerald. You have arrived to where nobody could
Gerald, great job !
This program will work only on A780 ( or another linux phone that uses VIBRATOR) ... Will never work on E680i ...
A780 uses VIBRATOR, while E680i have HAPTICS (aka VIBESYNC, on other moto phones).
The HAPTICS produces vibrations using low frequency sounds that the phone is playing ...
The only way to have a E680i vibrating while ring is enable HAPTICS. If is desired a power vibration with haptics, the ringtone must be prepared with the /usr/SYSqtapp/sound/vbr* wavs ...
I guess that bassboost have this purpose, but I don't know if only enable haptics or increases the volume or gain too... I made a program that only enable/disable haptics ... Anyone here can confirm how bassboost works internaly ?
thanx epinter.. That info was very helpful and I never knew this info about E680i.Originally Posted by epinter
