I had tested with my A780 only.. Sorry E680i people, I dont have one to test it against and fix any bug

@chrisjorsil: I am not offhand aware of such problem where the script might die when you connect thru USB. I do connect thru USB but didnt face such issue so far. I hope you are not starting your script while in telnet in USB, if u do that, then the script will be terminated when you close ur telnet session (which is the parent session for the script).

I don't start the script when I am connected. In fact, usually, I just connect via USB to charge the battery of the phone while I am at the office.

but there's a slight problem...i'm unable to send messages(SMS) to other phones with d "gerald_vibe.sh" running n i have to run d "gerald_vibe_stop.sh" to send d messages .....

is it a bug?

Me too. I tried to send SMS and got an error. Please, check if the battery consumption is higher when script is running. Nevertheless congratulations the phone today is even better!! Many thanks!!

ok time to release the next version

this version gerald_vibe 1.2 should fix the problem with sending SMS while the script is running.. Please test it and post ur feedback..

btw, i too had issues in sending sms, and with this version im able to send/receive sms too!

regarding battery consumption, i didnt notice a noticeable difference in battery consumption. moreover, the application just sleeps for an event (like incoming call) so should not drain battery.

after use 2-3 days. I faced some problem. when I receive a 1st line call and another call is coming. phone vibrate when i talk.

but when i test this for Ring and vibrate. phone is not to vibrate when 2nd calling in.

and vibrate stop late after call received.

btw this is gerald vibe 1.2 in mpkg.
