    Default Need help with ezx-crosstool-0.5 on SuSE 10.0

    I'm just wondering if anyone has successfully install the cross compiler on Suse 10.0. I tried it with no luck. The version of gcc is: 4.0.2, and I got the following error:

    Code:
    /home/kenno/e680i/ezx-crosstool-0.5/build/arm-linux/gcc-3.3.6-glibc-2.3.2/build-gcc/arm-linux/libstdc++-v3/include/bits/fstream.tcc: In
       member function `void std::basic_filebuf<_CharT,
       _Traits>::_M_destroy_internal_buffer() [with _CharT = char, _Traits =

    /home/kenno/e680i/ezx-crosstool-0.5/build/arm-linux/gcc-3.3.6-glibc-2.3.2/gcc-3.3.6/libstdc++-v3/src/fstream-inst.cc:40:   instantiated from here

    Please submit a full bug report,
    Thanks in advance.

    Not to be a smart-aleck, but I'd submit a full bug report. Looks to me like the cc is having issues being build (as in arm-linux-gcc).

    I've successfully built this on Cygwin and on MacOS X Intel, and if I can build on those two, just about any flavor of linux should be a snap. File the bug report.

    Succeded build crosstool on Fedora Core 3 (gcc-3.4.2) but have the same problem when try to build on FC4 (gcc-4.x.x). FC4 have backward compatibilty to gcc-3.2, easy to fix this problem:

    Code:
    $ export CC=gcc32
    $ ./build.sh
    Have no access to SUSE system, but I hope this can help you.

    I tried to set $export CC=gcc32, unfortunately I only have one version of gcc on my system, which is version 4.0.2.

    I finally get ezx-crosstool compiled on my SuSE box now. Last night, I talked with AndiM, a guy from #openezx in irc, and he suggested that the problems could be the cause of bad RAM. It sounds right because I have 2 sticks of rams, 1GB of Samsung, and 512MB of Lengend. The "Legend" one is known to cause trouble before; making the system unstable.

    So, I tried to remove the bad ram and have it another go. Guess what guys? It's working like a charm! Thank yo all for trying to help.
