Open eKonsole and enter the following:

cd /usr/language/inputmethods (press enter)
dir

Let me know what*.kbd files are there.

Hmmm... we will have to wait since I lent it to my friend today morning.
I will just verify as soon as I can possibly by the evening.

hey i have in inputmethods eng____.bak.....i cant see any of this kbd file in inputmethods if i am using black gold firmware...so what to do??

since i am using NTA v3 from yesterday i am not able to use the first trick.....
i am not using english_cn.kbd thats why cant be mounted.....
the file inside inputmethods is english_emea.kbd.... what to do???

I re-tried the method , it still does not work.

Can you give me a screenshot? I'm assuming you can atleast see the hindi keyboard when you compose a message?
