Querying information from the phone

Hey folks,
I've got a A1200i and I want to know how do I discover the system volume (or at least the profile , or maybe both information), battery levels and all that stuff..anyway has any idea?

offtopia bonus question: the bluetooth port can be used like a regular serial port?

Hi Neostrider,

I'm not sure, but i think the file /ram/proc/apm can give some infos regarding battery (status, percentage, life...).

For bluetooth, recently, i've learnt from a wyrm's post that quite everything was possible

Note that motorola's way of cleaning the code on the kernel consist mostly in removing the usefull comments , etc... It's obious that they don't use the same tree, when developing for a phone...
