    What does it mean?

    1. Do you want to make a script with filename startup?

    2. What should your startup script do?

    3. Do you cant find the location of the startup/bootcfg to place your script that you want to run at boot time. Which firmware do you have, modded one?

    4. Do you have a firmware that doesn't support startup files, and you want to add this feature?

Provide an exact question or more please, not to short or choose a number from above and trie to ask again.

I need to know your problem if you want some help.

Sorry cant tell you the whole process.

The location where you can put startup scripts are different.
I dont know if Ahman's hybrid support it. The most modded firmware do support a startup.

Usualy a script in your runlevel 2 folder...

    Code:
    /etc/rc.d/rc2.d
...will execute your lin/sh scripts in your selected folder at boot time.

The runlevels are located in rootfs. To make changes you need to extract the firmware and make a partial reflash or flash a modded ones.

    E6 (cg43)
    A780/E680i (cg33)

I have no clue about which e6 firmware is best to use. But for example the 08p by askd support startup.:

UPDATE! FIRMWARE: Modded 08p by aksd

PartialFlashFile: Get startup scripts working on 08p

You can mod your own firmware, have a look here how to add a startup:

Modified 09P CG43 telnetable, startupscripts, fontswitch

And here you can have a look, what you can put in a startup script:

    Startup Script (startup.lin)

For motoguard post #14 tells you exactly what you need to do.

First have a look in your runlevel, maybe you can figure out if you have a startup folder and where.

Second if you have not a startup make one and test it if its working.

    Third try to install motoguard.
