I have qpe-gaim 0.5 cvs and gaim 0.82.1 but the problem is how to build libgaim (gaim without gtk UI)? I will try to construct libgaim header and reuse libgaim binary so no need to build it from source. If its fail, I think we must contact qpe-gaim author.

Gaim for Qtopia (qpe-gaim) mean gaim without GTK+ UI but Qtopia. It's like exmms-embedded, xmms without GTK+ but have UI replacement base on Qtopia or EZX UI for eXMMS.

libgaim (gaim library, gaim without GTK+), glib, gaim protocol, and etc binary available on the net. Today I have try to replace eXMMS glib using glib from qpe-gaim and eXMMS still works without problem Let's wait and see what I can do for this community. Still working on FBReader-0.8.17 for E680i/A780

Have found libgaim+qpe-gaim source from openembedded, the maintainer is a familiar name for us He is openembedded, open-ezx, open-moko hacker: mickeyl.

Quick hack on libgaim and qpe-gaim, now its running on my A1200. Load AIM/ICQ, Gadu-Gadu, GroupWise, IRC, Jabber, MSN, Napster, Yahoo, and Zephyr. Running not mean working but its time to move this topic to Development Forum

FBReader-0.8.17 running and working on my E680i and A1200 but as usuall, net connection problem
