But the .gz file is corrupted, its size is 4.685.824, when I try unpack it, I got this error:

i have tested and the file is 32,3 MB and unpacks wonderful with winzip.
try downloading again.

Today I check it and saw it's have 67 MB file size. so I try upload it again and again. This time I saw it's 33MB. it should be ok now.

Cygwin's command prompt is this icon on your desktop that link to cygwin.bat in cygwin folder.

I never been in C/C++ class before. My university said this class is for com-science only. I'm not in Faculty of com-science. so I read it myself. until now I'm still a C++ newbie. LOL

eakrin sorry for the stupid question.. the installation wasn't complete and that's why there was no shortcut on desktop. after reinstalling the shortcut and the bat file appeared.

edit:
after following the entire tutorial i managed to run the helloezx.

Cygwin need internet connection to install it. I take 4-6 hr to install it with 3 required packages. Installation speed is depend on server that you choice to download files.

I got a g++ error its 5 lines of compiling and the error:
make: arm-linux-g++: command not found
make: *** [HelloEZX.o] error 127

i probably messed up while moving folders, i will try re-do all and check.
My phone is a1200, i tryed setENV e6 no good, then setENV a1200 and both gave me that error, maybe gcc version?

try to reinstall the cygwin and make sure that you have the gcc for c++ environment selected (devel->gcc). you have probably installed some other gcc

ok i re-done it all, i had to go on linux to untar the files cuz winrar kept failing at symlinks. I had to copy C:\cygwin\opt\dev-ezx\a1200\include and lib from E6 folder cuz of symlinks too.
The error it gives me now is:
libdl.so:format not recognized
i will keep fighting the symlinks, i belive this is another corrupted file issue.
