Mime in mpkg package file.

Does anybody know or heard about mime presetting in mpkg file before?

MIME is a application association file like .pkg open with mpkg installer, .mp3 open with RealPlayer etc.

I try to update new mpkg installer with presetting mime feature. but cannot find syntax for setting mime in *.desktop file. look like I found it long time ago but I can't remember where it is.

i think you can fine sth in "/etc/mime.types"
if not! i have no idea!!

yeah. /etc/mime.type is a default mime. but I need a syntax for destop file mpkg installation. like skin installer set pskn file to open with Skin installer. when install by mpkg it set pskn file to open with skin installer. no need to openwith...

Damn, i never tought thats easy..! I used to modify the mime.types, searching for my apps uid, then edit the UserMime.... Thanks blackhawk and eakrin...

It's not easy. Mime in .desktop file is a info for installer to add Mime into UserMime file for system.
