Thanks for the Picture Flow & thanks for adding .cfg file. I was working fine with my E6.
Waiting for a version where there is link/ button to browse location & zoom feature with Picture Flow.
Thanks
If you delete the cfg.txt file, it should revert to the old folder (images inside pictureflow folder).
But, you can replace that line (/mmc/mmca1/albumart) with any link of your choice. Make sure that if you are making the folder albumart, then the folder name is case-sensitive

Yes, I'm working on providing a file browser in it to select the directory. The new version will have a much improved touchscreen too. Should be done in a couple of days.
The zooming part will be a bit challenging for a novice developer like me, but I'll see what I can do.
Thanks. I'm very impressed to see some work being done on this great application. I like the idea of having the .cfg file to point to the location. Touch screen dragging still getting there. One thing, it would be great to scroll to the next picture by clicking on it - I think this was the method used in the initial project. But that together with the ability to drag..of course! Ok, I'm just giving somesuggestions.
Anyway. Keep up your well-appreciated efforts.
@khizerk if you can use the same touchscreen speed as the original keep the exit button and some how be able to get zoom fuctionality that would be great![]()

@Casper: The original project didn't contain exactly that, but it just looked like it. What it did was if you clicked on the right portion of the screen it would move to the next slide and vice versa. I could implement it, so that if the user clicks on the bottom right or left part of the screen it would do that.
By the way, I have ported PhotoFlow (the official app for pictureflow). It contains reflection blurring and does load up pictures quickly. But although the author says he had optimized it for better speed and low memory footprint, I actually find it slower than pictureflow. Yeah the pictures load up faster but there's a bug that it loads up some pictures multiple times and halts sometimes. I'll post that along with the next pictureflow if you guys wanna test.

great, waiting for the zoom version.keep it up!!![]()
Here's v1.0:
Changelog
[blackhawk's build - v1.0]
+ Added proper touchscreen support. Length of drag on the screen will determine the number of slides moved.
+ Added support for custom directory (can be set using Setup button)
+ Added a small exit button![]()
Do remember that pictureflow is not that comfortable with large images (its basically for albumart). I tested with around 15 1200x1600 resolution images and it halted the phone. You can keep a couple of big pictures in there and it will load up fine...but try to keep the images around 240x320 size or similar
Note:
Directory can be setup using setup button. Initially you will be in /mmc/mmca1/QTDownload/pictureflow/images/
Browse to whereever you want. To set a directory, use key to scroll to it and click on Set Dir. It will take you in the directory, which means the directory has been set. (I'm sorry for these inconveniences, but I am short on time. I'll fix them in the next version)
To Do:
- Add zoom (if possible)
- Set move to next or previous slide when clicking on bottom right or left (should be easy)
- Provide more configurable options, such as max number of slides to jump in one drag, slidesize and maybe a progressbar to show the loading progress.
Should I keep posting this here or E6/A1200 apps section?
ill test it out and let u know wat i think. ok I tested it out and i am super impressed. scrolling is so smooth no lag. I like the three button setup when u first enter the app. If you can find away to add zoom that would be the icing on the cake
. two thumbs up great work
