for nfs i think its a config failure at your side on host
Hi All,
I want to know which kernel modules are available for A780/E680.
I know that loop and cramfs modules are available. Has anybody compiled any other modules?
I'm particularly interested in smbfs module..if anybody can help..that'll be great.. Ofcourse i can try to NFS to access files on PC..But Samba will also allow files on windows. I'm also having permissions related issues with NFS. cant access the file on my linux..even though they appear..
Thx for all your help!

you can use the bluez utils from an ipaq or zaurus feed, ive been using them for about two weeks now and they seem to run fine on the phone in conjunction w/ the bt mods posted earlier in this thread. If you want you can get pre-compiled (for arm) bluez utils here: http://www.handhelds.org/download/packages/.

you should only need the ipk files; these can usually be unpacked with tar -zxvf (tarred and zipped files) although some require ar (use ar -x); after unpacking there will be a data.tar.gz fie, a control.tar.gz file, and a "debian" file; the only one you need is the data.tar.gz and you can then simply unpack it w/ tar -zxvf. if you are still having problems let me know and I can post the bluez-utils that I have been using.
