Hey i got it working finally i think it is the ui file that is causing the issue ... so for guys who have a complete green screen use the latest ui file it will solve the issue not completely though ... but it is working ... i got to play songs ... but the volume is too low so i am looking how to increase that ... i am just waiting for that to come with full UI it will the best app ever ... way to go blackhawk ......

I mess up with many files here and i could not run it on my A1200 phone.

hi chandu.kris, plz tell me step be step how you can install Rockbox on E6 ? because i had a green screen when use Rockbox on my E6

I have a E6 and I got the same green screen issue, I downloaded the 458 update and I still have the same issue. Any ideas? Pretty please

Ok .. here is what i have done ... i have added the new ui file to the archive and i am attaching that and the unzip file to my post ... you need ekonsole to do this.
1) Download the unzip file and the rockbox_bleeding_20070909_117 file that i have uploaded.
2) Copy these files to your memory card using your PC.
3) Disconnect your phone and open ekonsole.
4) enter the following commands:-
cd /mmc/mmca1
./unzip rockbox_bleeding_20070909_117.zip
./unzip rockbox/qt-2.3.10-a1200.zip
after you run these commands close ekonsole and open your file manager you will see two new folders rockbox and system
Open rockbox and install the rockbox-rokr_e6.pkg. Once done run rockbox.
I think it will go to fm screen first just click on the green button on your phone and you will see the main menu then use your left and right arrow keeys to navigate and take it up from there. You need go to settings to increase your volume and as well as your background.

Please tell me if you went wrong somewhere or anything else i will help you as much as i know.

Guys before you try this make sure you remove any previous trials of rockbox ... i dont know what will happen but y take a chance.......

Thank you very much chandu, I did everything you said, BUT it still continues to show a green screen, except that this time, the green screen dissapears after half a second and then the returns to normality, like nothing ever happened :S

I did remove the previous installation

I'm using DAGR8's asmotoe2's revisited 07p firmware

WOW, GOT IT WORKING.... but now I get all the colors distorted, and the window appears vertically :S

Yea, it is the latest rockbox status. At least, the core working as expected but not the UI yet.
